My Happy Weekend

Last weekend was very special for me. I spent it with my family, and we had a lot of fun together. On Saturday morning, we went to the park near our house. The weather was perfect—sunny but not too hot. We played frisbee and flew kites. It felt great to be outside in the fresh air.

In the afternoon, we visited a small museum. It was about local history and culture. My parents told me stories about how the town used to look many years ago. I learned a lot and found it really interesting.

On Sunday, we stayed at home and cooked lunch together. My mom showed me how to make dumplings, and we made a big pot of vegetable soup. While we were cooking, my dad played some music, and we all sang along. It was so much fun! After lunch, we watched an exciting movie together.

Even though we didn’t go anywhere fancy, these simple activities brought us closer as a family. I love spending time with them, and I always feel happy and relaxed after such weekends. I hope every weekend can be like this!

This weekend reminded me that happiness doesn’t always come from doing something big or expensive—it comes from being with people you care about and enjoying each other’s company.
